Another tribute, of a sort, to the Polish exile army that fought hard and well with the Allied armies in the Italian Campaign of World War Two. The reason I say of a sort isn't because I think the Poles weren't valiant fighters, but because, like in all wars, of the gruesome by-and after-products, like the ones clumsily depicted in this pic, left behind.
