Life in the frontier era of the Americas could be hard, brutal, bloody and even boring. So much so that just about any itinerant politician, preacher or speaker of any sort could be expected to provide some sort of entertainment to break up the monotony of day-to-day frontier life. In this case, however, the speaker in the pic ain't makin' the grade with his audience.
