A tribute of mine, done over two years ago now, to the members of the Royal Hong Kong Volunteer Corps, Chinese, European, Eurasian, Portuguese and Indian, who, along with the Canadian, Indian, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy contingents of the Hong Kong garrison, held off the Japanese attack on Hong Kong on 8th December, 1941, until forced to surrender on Christmas Day of that year. Their struggle is little known and remembered now, and this is just my little way of helping to ensure that they aren't completely forgotten.
