From the New York Times, via truthout.org, comes this op-ed piece on the new HBO documentary, "Alive Day Memories:Home From Iraq", about the experiences of 10 soldiers and marines who were disabled in combat in Iraq.
The documentary's narrated by James Gandolfini, who also interviews these survivors on-camera in it as well.
Don't have cable, let alone HBO, so won't be able to see it.
But, if you do, check it out when it plays in your area, and, in the meantime, check Bob Herbert's op-ed piece on it out.
It's at http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/082107E.shtml.
Be seeing you.
