Two Nat Hentoff Village Voice Column Links On Torture

Well, Children, we've had our bits of fun here this morning. But, now is the time for a pair of deadly, and I mean DEADLY, serious Nat Hentoff articles from the Village Voice's site.

The first one's, from to-day, is on a set of new reports leaked from the International Red Cross about the CIA's extensive use of torture in its various "secret" prisons, and can be found at http://www.villagevoice.com/news/0735,hentoff,77643,6.html.

The second's from 10th July, 2007, and is about John Yoo, the Bush Administration legal counsel turned Berkeley professor, who was the author of the infamous Department of Justice "torture" memo back in 2002, and, who is, as far as I am concerned, one prize son of a bitch.

It can be seen at http://www.villagevoice.com/news/0728,hentoff,77169,6.html.

In closing, I want to thank the friend who originally sent me the first article via e-mail, and to ask those of you out there to please read these articles, and pass along the links to your families and friends, and post them on your blogs, if you have any.

Let's not, when all of this is finally over, and we have to explain all this to our kids, grand-kids, and the rest of the world's kids and grand-kids, that we didn't bloody know this was happening.

It didn't work for the Germans after World War Two, and it sure won't bloody wash in future, either.

Take Care, and be seeing you.
