Am posting a link to a 2nd August review in the Sydney Morning Herald of the Canadian drama, "Snow Cake", starring Sigourney Weaver, as a high-functioning autistic woman whose daughter' s killed in an auto accident, and co-starring Alan Rickman as the driver of the car in which Weaver's daughter was traveling when the accident happened.
The Herald's reviewer gives high marks to Rickman and Carrie Ann Moss, who has a supporting role in "Snow Cake", but isn't as happy with Ms. Weaver's performance.
Not having seen the film, I'll leave you be the judges of that.
